iGadgets aren't just about books and music and being ubercool anymore. The following press release from Yaskawa just popped up in my mailbox. Gee, this is getting scary. Are we all going to end up iWorking for Steve Jobs?

New energy savings application for iPhone and iPod touch

Waukegan, Ill. The $avings Predictor application is now available on Apple iTunes for iPhone (OS 3.1.2 or later) and iPod touch. This mobile application estimates energy savings when using a Variable Frequency Drive instead of conventional volume control methods.
