Facebook's Forest City, North Carolina data center runs like a large automated factory. What's more, the data center uses sustainable efforts like its eco-friendly cooling system to make the facility an energy-efficient building. Historically, large data enters depend on inefficient cooling methods like massive air conditioners to control the air temperature of its server rooms and building offices. Facebook is using 100% outdoor air to cool the center.
