Some History on Leeds and Northrup Australia Pty Ltd

I worked for Leeds and Northrup Australia since 1990, employed to work in the SCADA applications area.  The group was a subsidiary of Leeds and Northrup of North Wales, PA then itself a long standing American company part of the General Signal Group.

 

L&N Australia, and key people of L&N and all its SCADA technology were aquired by Siebe PLC, to become a unit of Foxboro MA in 1995.  The SCADA products were taken on under the Foxboro brand, and remain that way today in 2011.  Foxboro as a brand is now part of the Invensys.  The L&N Rail group of Brisbane, was split from Foxboro and became part of Invensys Rail Division.
