Standardization of Operator Interface

I am surprised by the wide diversity in operator graphics from one company to another, sometimes there are major variations even within the same company. With DeltaV, the process variable (PV) is represented in yellow by default, however this is by no means a standard in the wider industry.
I can see strong benefits in having a user graphics standard that is widely accepted. This would mean reduced training costs and easier migration between vendors.
I am not aware of a user graphics standard that has gained traction and wide acceptance.
Can someone advise if such a standard exists, what it is called and how I can get a copy.

Color considerations
As it is always, standard is customer demands ( of course in many cases color schema is similar, but not always the same ). I have seen one discussion regarding this issue, but only regarding Alarms, maybe it should help you.....
